Early-Stage Capital for a Proven Industrial Problem

NISO Energy is developing a waste heat recovery system for heavy industry. We are raising pre-commercial capital to fund our first pilot deployment.

The Investment Thesis

Industrial waste heat is one of the largest untapped energy resources in the global economy. Heavy industry — steel, cement, glass, chemicals — exhausts enormous quantities of heat that currently has no economic use. NISO Energy is building the system to change that.

Large, durable market

Industrial heat waste is structural, not cyclical. It exists wherever heavy manufacturing operates, and it will persist regardless of energy prices.

No-purchase commercial model

We install, own, and operate. Host facilities pay nothing upfront and receive a share of the power generated. This removes the primary barrier to adoption.

Capital-efficient pilot path

Our first pilot is scoped to demonstrate core system performance with a defined host site, bounded cost, and clear technical milestones.

Defensible technology position

The system is designed for temperature ranges and operating conditions that existing ORC and thermoelectric solutions handle poorly.

Where We Are

We are honest about our development stage. NISO Energy is a pre-commercial company. We have completed initial system design and are actively qualifying our first pilot host site.

Commercialization Pathway

NISO is pursuing a Proof → Pilot → Orders → Scale progression. The steel pilot is the first step: demonstrating that the system performs as designed under real industrial conditions. All subsequent stages depend on successful pilot outcomes.

Planned commercial models include system sales, electricity-sharing or performance-based arrangements, and service, monitoring and system upgrades. The final structure for any given site will depend on site feasibility, financing and agreed commercial terms.

Successful pilot data is the foundation for additional host sites in steel, followed by expansion into cement, glass, and chemical processing. Any timeline is a target dependent on funding, successful testing and industrial-partner participation.

The Team

NISO Energy was founded by engineers and operators with direct experience in industrial energy systems. We are a small, focused team.

Founding Team

Background in industrial thermodynamics, energy systems engineering, and project development. Details available to qualified investors under NDA.

We are deliberately cautious about public disclosure of team details at this stage. Qualified investors will receive a full team briefing as part of the due diligence process.

Speak With Us

We are in active conversations with investors who understand deep-tech timelines and industrial markets. If that describes you, we would like to hear from you.

We do not respond to unsolicited broker introductions or investment banking outreach.
